DWL-3000XY Bluetooth machine level

The Digi-Pas DWL-3000XY is a 2-axis machine level with a colour display and a built-in vibration meter. It measures angle and vibration on both axes at the same time with a resolution of 0.01° (175 µm/m), over a measuring range of up to ±90° (1-axis) and ±15° (2-axis). The magnetic base lets you work hands-free. Via USB (and with the Bluetooth version also wirelessly up to approx. 30 m) you read the measurements remotely with the supplied PC Sync software. For installation and maintenance of CNC milling and grinding machines, test and measuring equipment and other precision machines.

  • Fast and precise: angle and vibration on both axes at the same time, resolution 0.01°
  • Clear: graphical and numerical display on a colour display, in real time
  • Efficient: remote measurement via USB or Bluetooth, so one person can align
  • Magnetic base for hands-free work
  • Two versions: DWL-3000XY-USB and DWL-3000XY-Bluetooth (also with USB cable)
  • Accuracy tested and periodically verified by accredited laboratories (NIST, JIS, UKAS, DIN)

Features

Dual-axis display

Colour display with simultaneous graphical and numerical display of angle and vibration on the X and Y axis, in real time, for monitoring, data logging and analysis.

Precision angle measurement

Resolution 0.01°. Via USB (optionally wireless via Bluetooth) to the PC for remote data logging; real-time graphical display on the TFT display.

Built-in vibration meter

Track, record and analyse the vibration pattern of a precision machine during operation, numerically and graphically.

Angle meter

Real-time angle monitoring, data logging and analysis, with graphical display on the TFT display.

Alternate zero

Set any angle as the reference (zero) and measure relative angles to that plane.

Absolute level setting (ABS)

Symmetrical, absolute measurement in both the forward and the reversed (180°) position, at any measuring angle.

User self-calibration

Easily restore the level yourself to the accuracy set in the factory.

USB connection to the PC

Read, monitor, log and analyse measurements remotely on the computer.

Wireless (optional)

Bluetooth Low Energy connection for monitoring, data logging and analysis from the computer (PC Sync Pro required). With the Digi-Pas app a smartphone can also connect.

PC Sync software – Professional (optional)

Extensive functions for remote data logging, processing and analysis of angle measurements, for optimising precision machines during installation, adjustment and maintenance.

Digi-Pas Level app (optional)

Use the wireless Bluetooth connection with a smartphone or tablet for 2-axis precision levelling.

Applications

CNC milling and grinding machines

Installing, adjusting and maintaining CNC milling and surface grinding machines: levelling jigs, fixtures and worktables accurately before machining.

Faster alignment

Because both axes are displayed at the same time, alignment is faster and even new operators reliably achieve the required result without lengthy training.

Vertical milling head

Adjusting a vertical milling head relative to the horizontal workpiece; less scrap and lower costs in precision machining.

3D printers

Levelling the print bed accurately: the most important step for a good 3D print result.

Optical measuring machines

Installing and adjusting vision measuring equipment: levelling and checking positional stability for sharp images and reliable measurements.

Measuring instruments in the semiconductor industry

Installing, adjusting and maintaining precision measuring instruments; the vibration meter helps you detect instability.

Precision fixtures

Aligning precision fixtures where absolute levelling and positional accuracy are needed to meet tight tolerances.

Wire bonders

Adjusting and maintaining wire bonders in semiconductor assembly, where high positional stability is required; with vibration diagnostics.

Wafer production

Monitoring the performance of precision equipment for wafer production.

Railway maintenance

Detecting distortion and height differences in the track; an aid in repairing, aligning and building railway lines.

Launch platforms

Setting up and aligning launch platforms for missile systems and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Satellite dishes and antennas

Aligning satellite dishes and installing antennas.

Ship heel

Measuring the heel (list angle) of a sailing boat.
